Jean Meissner LPC has worked in the mental health field for the past 8 years working with individuals experiencing developmental, physical and mental struggles. She has a certificate in AODA treatment from Fox Valley Technical College. Jean prides herself in offering creative talents to all kinds of people and works with helping others navigate their own strengths and happiness.
Kristeen Schreiber LPC has worked in the mental health field since 1993 where she worked directly with the chronically mentally ill population. Kristeen has worked with both adult, children and their family in a clinical therapy setting since 2011. Anxiety, depression, loss and grief, anger management and ADHD are among the many issues Kristeen addresses with clients. Kristeen has received her masters degree from Lakeland College.
Mika is a certified therapy dog through Therapy Dog International. Mika has been in mental health practices since 2010 working with clients who struggle with depression, self esteem issues, anxiety, and trauma. Mika is a silver lab who is loving and caring to all individuals and families we serve. Mika does practice with therapist Amy. In her free time she enjoys playing Frisbee, going for walks and cuddling.
Founder of Mindful Matters LLC, Amy VandenHeuvel LPC CCTP has worked with children and families in various mental health practices since 2007. Amy specializes in trauma informed care receiving national certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is recognized by International Association of Trauma Professionals as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Amy specializes in working with children and adults with histories of abuse and PTSD. Amy also works with clients struggling with anger management, depression, anxiety and mood disorders. Amy received her masters in community counseling from Lakeland College. In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball, enjoying outdoors and time with friends and family.
